In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for your pets, we require the following: Veterinarian Information:We require that your veterinarian's name and phone number be on file while your pet is boarding with us. If you do not currently have one, we can provide you with names of local veterinarians. However, it is your responsibility to choose a veterinarian you feel comfortable with and trust.Payment:We charge by the day, whether your cat arrives in the morning or afternoon. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Check out after this time will incur charges for an additional day.Charges for any animal boarded for over three and half weeks will be discounted 10%. Please also see our deposit requirements for long term stays. We accept cash or check or credit cards via Square.Multiple Animal Payment Discounts: We will provide a discount for two or more animals. Please contact us for more information. Deposits:A 25% deposit is required at time of boarding for stays of seven or more days.Holidays:Check-ins, check-outs or tours are not available on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We will still be caring for our boarding guests, but are not accepting pick-ups, drop offs, or tours.Vaccinations:We require that every kitty guest be current on Rabies and Distemper/FVRCP. For outdoor cats, we require proof of Feline Leukemia Vaccine, or a negative Feline Leukemia test done within the last 30 days. We require all of our clients to bring a record of veterinary administered vaccinations showing their cat is up to date. Massachusetts law states that ALL cats must be up to date on the Rabies vaccine.Medication:Please advise us of any medication(s) your cat is on before you board with us, so we can discuss their needs with you. There is a $5.00 fee per day for medication administration with a needle (bio-hazard).Toys:We encourage you to bring your kitty's favorite toy or bed to make his/hers stay as comfortable as possible.Food:Because many cats don't adapt well to an abrupt change in food, we recommend that you bring their own brand of food.Fleas:We request that all cats be on a form of flea preventative. We take great care to ensure that our facility remains clean and flea free. When we accept a cat for boarding, we assume it comes to us free of fleas or at least without a client's knowledge of their cat having them. If we find a cat has fleas while in our care, we will treat them with an externally administered flea product; the cost of this will be added to your boarding bill. If you have any concerns about fleas, we highly recommend that you treat them prior to boarding and inform your veterinarian.Cancellation Policy for Holidays and the Busiest Times:If you give us 10 days notice of your cancellation, we will return your deposit. If cancellation is 3-9 days before boarding we will put a credit in your file for the entire amount of the deposit, which will be applied toward your next boarding visit. If your cancellation is 48 hours or less, your deposit will be forfeited.Questions? Please contact us for more information or if you have special concerns for your pet's boarding. |
